I don't usually get involved in this sort of thing, but after a facebook invite from my friend Matt I took part in the 7 day #‎challengeonnaturephotography‬, picking a different landscape or nature photo each day. In the end it was pretty interesting going back through some old photo's trying to pick out a few favourites. Now I think all of these already exist in various albums on here but I've put them altogether for the blog. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! 

Day 1 -  Here we have a butterfly taken at the Whipsnade Zoo Butterfly House.

Day 2 - One of my favourites, on display in the website header, a shot of a humming bird taken at Griffith Observatory in LA.

Day 3 - This is a new addition to the site, a recently stitched landscape taken last summer at the White Cliffs of Dover

Day 4 - A photo of a Nuthatch taken in Nottingham last February

Day 5 - A friendly heron, taken whilst sitting in the Lido Bar and Cafe, Hyde Park, London last summer

Day 6 - A photo of a Robin taken last February in Nottingham shortly after the Nuthatch photo seen on day 4

Day 7 - The final picture of the week, A stitched panorama photo of the view back along the beach at Robin Hood's Bay.

So it was my last day at work today, I'm afraid there were no tears. Besides, its not really goodbye, I'm sure I'll see everyone again. I have 2 months of nothing planned when we get back so I'm sure a trip to Nottingham is on the cards ;-)

In other big news I got offered a place at Kings College today, to begin a PGCE course this September. I'm totally shocked, I can't believe in the pieces are starting to fall into place. This year is certainly going to be an interesting one!

Thats about all folks, except to say thanks again to everyone at work for the Euros, I'm sure they'll help me and Dani no end over the coming weeks. See you all on the other side :-)

OK so things are getting a little worrying now, notice is in on the flat and in a few days will be in at work too, we've even told BT and TV license people so it looks like its all on - our Big Europe Adventure is only 4 short weeks away and theres still so much to do!!!!! I'm much too stressed to write anything else so that will just have to do for now :-)

P.S. Keep an eye out - big updates coming this weekend - I'm homealone and yes I really don't have anything better to do. (Well I do - theres lots of trip planning and such like but that can wait right? . ..)
