Good afternoon everybody. Thought I'd write a little update as the posts on here have been more than a little sparadic since we got back in June last year. I can't believe our big europe adventure was already so long ago!
I think I'll start off with a little update to make sure everyone is up to date on what Dani and I have been up to. In September we moved down to London where I began my PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) at Kings College training to be a teacher. Dani has a job working as an office administrator for a small company dealing with arbitration.
We've both settled in quite well although the days are quite long as we both have about an hour to commute (although this isn't too unusual in London, we're finding it takes about an hour to get anywhere!) I'm currently on my first teaching practice at an all girls school in Kent although am due to finish there in a couple of weeks time. Its lots of hardwork and more writing than I'm used to (8000 word essay due in at uni in a couple of weeks, and various school paperwork to keep up with)
I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year, Dani and I spent a bit of time in Coventry and Sheffield over Christmas visiting family and catching up with some friends. We spent New Year back in London as Dani was back at work on the 2nd and we thought travelling back on new years day might be a bit promblematic. We headed down to Waterloo Bridge to watch the fireworks naively thinking that we would be the only people there. As it turned out, another 700,000 people had a similar idea, and Waterloo was a little bit busy!
Anyways I think I've written enough for today. Apologies to all the people we haven't been in touch with for a while, I can only say that I shall try harder! Also I'm planning some sort of paaaarrrtttty in June to celebrate completion of the course, more details to follow when we have a plan!

OK, so I know its been quite a while since I've written anything but the PGCE has been taking up a lot of time! However I shall aim to try much harder this year, also . . . just to share it was my birthday yesterday and Donna's the day before for those that know her! We have now reached that awesome age of 25 - a full quarter century no less - live the dream!
